Hi there! I’m Holly Love. I am an ESL teacher in an elementary school, as well as a wife, mom and writer. On this blog, I overshare about marriage, parenting, faith, public education, current events, politics, race, social justice and more. I live with my husband, 3-year-old son, infant daughter and two lazy dogs in Atlanta, Georgia.

I would describe myself as thoughtful, introverted, progressive, curious, opinionated and empathetic. I love singing Hamilton at the top of my lungs, spending time with my little family, learning something new, getting engrossed in a great story, practicing yoga and being outside. I drink a lot of coffee. I’m a huge baseball fan. I feel most comfortable around dogs and children.

Though I am a mom, this is not really a mommy blog. I can’t tell you about 10 simple ways to celebrate the holidays with small children (I’m actually kind of terrible at that stuff) or art projects for kids or how to DIY decorate your home on a budget. Blogs like that are great! But that doesn’t reflect who I am or what I care about.

I write about my life: the good, the bag and the ugly, about things that are important to me and to the world. Read some of my favorite posts here.

My work has been featured on PatheosBlogHer, Parent.coYourTango, Red TricycleScary Mommy, The Mighty, and Mogul.  I’d love to write for you, too! Contact me.
